The fleet here at Glynn Towers changes fairly regularly, but I thought it was worth updating on what is currently where. You can use the category menu (look right) to catch up on my cars at any stage: just click on the category you want to view. For everything: go to ‘My Cars’, for just Porsche: tick Porsche, or you can just go straight to the model.
At the minute, we have three Toyotas: a Prius (big Prius fan), and a pair of Landcruisers: a 1991 LJ70 short wheelbase with the 2.5 TD motor and a 1993 HDJ80 VX wagon, with the 4.2 TD engine. They are both manual transmission. I love Toyotas. The little Cruiser will be up for sale soon: just going to MOT it after its bodywork resto last year and should sell fast then.
Currently, we only have one Volkswagen: a 2.0 8v Corrado in Blackberry. This is not being used much at the minute though, and could also be on its way when I get back from the ‘States.
We also have Lindy: a 1983 Chevrolet Lindy motorhome, with the 6.2 V8 diesel. Lindy is a 6-berth C Class which is a motorhome based on a chassis cab. Quite different to the flimsy lightweight European models and a babe in her own right. Lindy is the only vehicle I usually refer to as a she, perhaps as I have spent many happy nights with her. Maybe. Lindy is lovely! Sadly, Lindy is also going to be up for sale when I am back from the US, as she is not being used enough, which is expensive in both sitting-around deterioration, and storage.
Porschewise, I now have three 911s which is cool, and a 944, which is also cool. The 911s are the 1971 911T coupe project, currently stashed in a container in another county, the 1980 SC coupe (known as Varmint) and the 1976 Carrera 3.0 coupe (known as The Orange). Names for cars is a bit crap to some, but it’s easier to do that when you have a few (I think it is anyway). The 944 is an 1983 Lux that is being reborn with the aim of liberating a plate. I don’t 100% know whether it will be finished or sold as a project yet, but I suspect we will finish it. It’s a great-looking car with a ton of potential.

Will you be selling those Cookie cutters ?
Thanks for the question. I don't think I'll be selling them.
The paint in that picture of the blue Varmint SC is way better than in current reality – must have been taken 20 years ago!
Have you sold your Lindy? It looks really nice.
Not yet Bob! Want it gone soon though the winter is not great for advertising. Think it can stay in the barn for another month or two.
