Sitting in bed at the minute, playing with some photo apps and trying to figure out how to upload photos and video to the blog, post them and have them filed to a gallery at the same time. I know the solution is out there, just need to get the map clear in my head.
This post is coming out of the WordPress iPhone app, but there is no facility to add pics into the text. At the bottom yes, but not while formatting pre-upload.
I could also just email blog posts, like I set Hayden up to do on the abortive London to Casablanca rally last year, but then no way to lay out photos in those either – as far as as I know! Will check that out.
I’m sure there is a way to do this. I probably need to be at a Mac, rather than still in bed, putting off getting up. If anyone’s got any ideas, let me know!
Edit: figured out a slightly long-winded way to to do this by uploading the post and shots, then cutting the HTML code about when posted. Works okay but means the unformatted version is live for a time, and no gallery option this way. Bring on the easier methods!

Hi John, only just found your blog – lots of good stuff here. Have you thought of adding an email subscription to the whole blog? I tried the version shown on the RSS feed link but this only subscribes me to receive comments on that particular post.
I've used feedburner for this on my blogs – simple and easy to register and it gives you the html code to cut and paste into your page. Every day it check to see if you've done new blogs and if you have emails them out to people who've subscribed. I'd like to receive your blog that way.

Thanks mate. Have had the Feedburner for a while but not incorporated it. Done that now.
Spent a few hours tweaking bits and pieces of the blog and adding email newsletter subscription this week. Will see how it goes!
