Porsche UK have youtubed a great video of a beautiful 1973 Carrera RS enjoying the Experience Centre at Silverstone.
Driven by Gordon Robertson, the dynamic nature of the RS Touring is immediately apparent as the classic 911 is drifted through the circuit’s sinuous curves. One anorak point is that the so-called Prototipo steering wheel looks more like a Jacky Ickx to me, not that it matters.
The photography and editing is pretty slick, sound is good and the rig shots featuring the saturated yellow bodywork set against the blue sky are pretty special also. Have a look and tell me what you think:

It looks great!
What a superb car, especially when you consider it's over 35 years old.
Nice Stuff! You're right, definitely not a Prototipo, but on close inspection not quite an Ickx either. Had to go look at mine to compare. Very close, but the spokes on that wheel have just a bit more taper and it has a bit more dish as well. Which also gives it a more pronounced circular 'edge' around the hub where the dish starts. Interesting bit of anorakism though. Nice wheel anyway, whatever it is. Suits the car.
I agree, really nice wheel. I have something similar – as yet unfitted – which is not quite an Ickx but almost as nice to use and has similar tapers. I'm always looking out for another Jacky wheel. Enjoy yours, John
